4. Academic activities
Theoretical sessions: They will be developed in a masterly way for all the students in a single group and will provide criteria of representation and tools of architectural graphic expression.
Seminars: will be the result of research, analysis and assimilation by the students of the expression
architectural graphics of current architects of recognized prestige. They will present their references in class, so that they can share what they have learned and learn from what their peers have presented in an exercise of knowledge exchange.
Practical classes / workshop: Part of the time will be devoted to the development of practical work, under the supervision of the professor.
Critical sessions: They will be treated as public exhibitions of the students' work, encouraging them to self-correct their exercises.
5. Assessment system
Continuous assessment: two individual evaluable works will be proposed during the subject, corresponding to the concepts and graphic tools taught, as well as the presentation of a seminar on the analysis, from the graphic point of view, of an architectural study previously chosen by the teachers. The latter will be a group work.
The percentages for the final grade are as follows: 10% Seminar, 35% paper 1 and 55% paper 2, being mandatory the presentation of the proposed evaluation activities.
Global or final assessment: it is carried out through the final work, which represents 90% of the overall grade, plus a complementary work of analysis, from the graphic point of view, of an architectural study with the approval of the teacher, which constitutes 10% of the global grade. Both parts must be passed. To opt for this option, students should contact at the beginning of the subject to be assigned the exercises to be performed.
